However in the last two decades coaching has also become an established practice in the corporate world for the same reasons that athletes use coaches – to improve performance, gain insight, and to become better at what they do. In my experience, people participate in coaching because they want things to be different. They are looking for change or they have important goals to reach.

Leaders need to make fast decisions without all of the information – uncertainty and disruption have become the new normal, executive coaching can give greater clarity and confidence to navigate complexity. I work with individuals (usually senior leaders and managers, but also often high-potential employees) to help them gain self-awareness, clarify goals, achieve their development objectives, unlock their potential, and be their sounding board.
