MotivAction is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This statement sets out the basis on which any personal data is collected from and about you, or that you provide to MotivAction, will be processed. This statement is being provided to you in line with the obligations from 25 May 2018 under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). MotivAction collects and processes the following data about you:
Information You Provide: This is information about you that you provide and includes the information you supply MotivAction with when you engage MotivAction to provide coaching, training, workshop facilitation, work on special projects and/or HR services. The information you provide may include, but is not limited to names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers and the information in regards to the work itself. Information is also recorded at coaching sessions, meetings and workshops and the notes are subsequently utilised in a follow-up email to the specific clients. The data collected is no more than is necessary for the legitimate provision of professional services of carrying out the work that MotivAction is contracted to do. Client information is strictly confidential and is not shared with any third party (unless you request it to be done).
Data Retention: It is MotivAction’s aim to only hold your data for as long as this is necessary. Unless otherwise required under applicable law, your data will be kept active for as long as the services are provided to you and for a period of no more than three years after your final session, workshop or project of work.
Information Storage: Your information may be stored in different places. Physical files are securely stored in the office and all electronic documents are encrypted and strongly password protected. Your phone number is stored in a password protected phone using the first initials of your name and the first initial of your organisation. Your email address and any email correspondence are stored on encrypted devices.
Your Rights As A Client
- You may obtain a copy of your personal data held by MotivAction on request.
- You have the right to data portability.
- You can request to have your data updated or deleted upon request.
- You have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commissioner if you deem it appropriate.
Changes to Statement: This privacy statement may be updated from time to time and the most updated version will be displayed here on our website.
